NineMSN hunts for commercial director after Dean Capobianco departs
NineMSN is searching for a new commercial director following the resignation of Dean Capobianco.
Capobianco, who was promoted to run NineMSN’s sales operation in February last year, is still with the company and it not clear what his next move will be.
NineMSN’s group CEO Mark Britt will have a closer hand in sales during the search for a replacement for the former athlete.
NineMSN is also searching for a group sales manager – a newly created position – who will report into Capobianco’s replacement.
The Sydney-based NSW group sales manager role will be responsible for the Microsoft Media Network, the expanded venture between Nine and MSN that was announced in November last year.
i don’t think the job in the mumbrella ad is the same as ninemsn commercial director – that seems to be sales director for the microsoft media network (different thing)

Sure sign 9MSN is missing numbers by a significant margin. Fire the sales lead and the CEO will step in. Great plan. Will be sure to buy some more time.

Don’t know what Capobianco’s next move will be but you can be sure it will be fast, decisive and then he’ll pull a hammy.

tough role. needs serious leadership and vision to transform some limp commercial properties that have shined in the past. the role has stumbled since jason left.

I just want to comment on the ‘lamb price war’. I’ve just returned from holidaying in Deniliquin where I purchased lamb cutlets from a butcher shop, not a super market & they cost me $17.99 a kilo, on arriving back in Melbourne my local Coles supermaket were selling them for $34 a kilo & ‘organic’ were $45 a kilo & today in a local Woolworths today they are $35 a kilo!!!
Why & where is the logic in this???? Just shows what the supermarkets are doing to rip us off.
I do not want my details divulged but am happy to hear other comments
Cheers Kaye
