Melbourne radio station Nova100 has announced it will have a new breakfast line up in 2016, confirming its remaining member of the current breakfast team Tommy Little will leave at the end of the year.

For the last two years Little has been part of a duo with Meshel Laurie, who earlier this month announced she was defecting to Australian Radio Network to replace Jane Hall in the struggling Kiis 101.1FM breakfast slot.

In a statement, Louise Higgins, NOVA Entertainment COO said, “We would like to thank Meshel & Tommy for their outstanding contribution to Nova and the laughs they have provided listeners with over the past two years.

“Tommy and Meshel are talented comedians and have been a great team. We wish them well with their adventures.”

The last ratings survey had Nova100 at sixth with a 6.8 per cent share in people 10+ and a 6.4 share in breakfast.

Melbourne-Ratings-468x258This morning Little announced on air he will not be returning to breakfast radio in 2016 on-air.

“I did want to take a chance to just say thank you to all the staff here,” said Little.

“We’ve got a fantastic team around us. I’ve had such a great two years doing the show. I’ve had such a great two years with you (Meshel). Let’s celebrate what’s been a really great time and let’s smash out some really funny shows.”

Nova Entertainment said details of Nova 100’s new line up for 2016 will be announced in due course.
