Nunn Media absorbs akamedia clients and staff as agencies merge

Nunn Media akamediaAkamedia clients and staff are transitioning into the Nunn Media Sydney business as the two businesses join together under the Nunn Media name.

Nunn Media Sydney staff have moved into akamedia’s offices in North Sydney, with the office set to be re-branded as Nunn Media.

Andrew Kluver, owner and managing director of akamedia, said: “Transitioning our clients to Nunn Media will allow us to provide greater expertise and value to them in the future. Both businesses have very similar cultures and trading philosophies and both are completely independently owned. This arrangement is a perfect fit for our clients.

“All of akamedia clients have been informed of the transition. The most important aspect of this deal is ensuring optimum value delivery to our clients, and the response from them has been overwhelmingly positive.”

The merger follows Nunn Media Sydney making its first hire, picking up David Spasovic who previously headed all digital media spending for retailer Harvey Norman in August.

A press release announcing the merger said it would see the size of the business grow to more than $150m of billings under management.

Nunn Media managing director Chris Walton said: “Andrew and I have known each other for several years and share many points of view about how best to work with clients. The more we spoke about how we could work together in the future the more this transition made sense.”

Akamedia clients include Greater Building Society, Vitaco, Roche Diagnostics, Causeforce, Ermenegildo Zegna and CNH Industrial while Nunn Media clients include Godfreys, Fantastic Furniture, Rockmans and Specsavers.
