Nunn picks up $4m Carpet Court media account

Carpet Court Nunn Media has picked up the media account for carpet and floor retailer Carpet Court.

The win sees the independent media agency take over media strategy, planning and buying across all channels for the $4m account from OMD Adelaide.

Natasha Gallardo, national marketing manager of Carpet Court said, in a statement: “We appointed Nunn Media for two clear reasons.  Firstly their experience in retail is second to none, and secondly the senior and fully integrated team they have put on my business is exactly what I was looking for.”

The win comes on the back of Real Insurance’s recent decision to split its media buying giving responsibility for its general and home and content insurance to the independent, while retaining its other insurance products with PHD.

“I set up the business to service mid-sized advertisers in Australia with strong, experienced teams.  Carpet Court is the perfect fit for us,” said Matthew Nunn, managing director of Nunn Media.

2014 has seen independent media agency expand its presence out of Melbourne and into Sydney, with former Qantium principal Chris Walton buying into the agency, which then absorbed fellow independent Akamedia’s clients and staff into its Sydney office.
