OgilvyOne Melbourne hires Andrew Pink to lead strategy
OgilvyOne Melbourne has hired client-side marketer Andrew Pink to lead its strategic offering.
Pink joins Ogilvy’s below-the-line agency from Double Black Hotel in Japan, where he was marketing director.
Pink has agency-side experience, having spent a spell at the now defunct DraftFCB Melbourne as head of integration, and also at McCann, Grey and Ogilvy in other markets.
OgilvyOne Melbourne GM Nick Muncaster said: “Andrew is an outstanding and recognised practitioner, and his appointment to this important role demonstrates our ongoing commitment to having the best of breed working here at Ogilvy. His broad experience and strong business acumen will be a great addition to the team.”
Ogilvy Melbourne’s head of brand strategy Gavin MacMillan added: “Andrew’s addition to the team further cements our strategy offer which is the envy of any agency network in Australia. We’re very excited to have him on board.”
Pink said: “It’s brilliant to be back at Ogilvy and working closely with Nick, Gavin and the talented OgilvyOne team. I love the challenge of using data to present actionable insights that deliver truly great work, and I’m looking forward to driving real growth for our clients business.”
Oh great! Because an agency that’s creatively struggling needs more managers.

Pink will want to make sure he drives growth for their client business, as the general STW group struggles to hit targets.
