Opera Australia focus on the Sydney Opera House experience in new ad

Opera Australia is focusing on the audience experience at the Sydney Opera House in a new campaign created by production house Collider to promote ticket sales for the 2015 season.

The TV spot takes viewers through the whole experience from the arrival at the Opera House including pre-show drinks, the performers preparing for the show, and the audience reaction to their performances. It ends with the line ‘Opera – Sydney style’.

Georgia Rivers, Opera Australia sales and marketing director, said: “We wanted to capture something of the experience that makes going to the opera in Sydney so special – the buzz of the bars under the Sydney Opera House sails, the glamour of the crowd, the twinkling harbour views, the magnificent emotion of the singing and music.

“People from all over the world come to the opera in Sydney and it makes the most romantic date, unforgettable birthday or impressive night out in our city.”

The launch of the campaign coincides with the launch of ticket sales for all 2015 shows.
