Optus opens The Happy Place to push iPhone

Optus has launched an inflatable pop-up store at Sydney’s Circular Quay to promote the new iPhone 3G S.

The venue – named The Happy Place – features staff to guide visitors on the handset’s abilities – and sign them up as customers. It will be at First Fleet Park until tomorrow. The Happy Place has also included a series of celebrity seminars explaining how they use their iPhones.

Experiential agency Jack Morton, Bang PR and Zing PR were involved in the project.

  2. By the way, apologies for the comically speeded up video, which is a splendid demonstration of Mumbrella incompetence.

First of all I shot it sideways, Unfortunately in using the free video covnersion software to flip it, it’s also speeded up the video by the times. But looking on the bright side, it will only take you 10 seconds to watch it…

Has anyoen got the Benny Hill theme music?

    (I am new media…)

    Cheers,

  10. Where you can hear Alan Jones and Bikini Models talking about how much they love iphones apparently. What a fantastic waste of money. Why did they call it something that sounds like a Brothel?
