Sharri Markson to focus on marketing?
Based on the Mumbrella comment thread, it would appear the marketing industry feels The Australian’s Media section has been somewhat ignoring them since the departure of Simon Canning back in 2012.
Dr Mumbo is pleased to report new media editor Sharri Markson appears to be fully embracing marketing, or at least product endorsements on her social media stream, as evidenced by this tweet.
Any other brands looking for free endorsements to 2,500 followers can presumably send their products care of News Corp Australia’s Holt Street headquarters.

Stephen H – Anna is one of the PR managers at Napoleon Perdis, not a previous boss. Unless of course you are referring to Napoleon having a very large amount of influence over editors via the gifts and trips he lauds them with.
