Packed to the Rafters beats Underbelly in drama ratings race but NRL the big winner

Seven’s Packed to the Rafters was once again the highest rating Australian made drama of the week, with a combined metro and regional audience rating of 2.249m according to ratings service OzTam.

Sunday’s two biggest shows, Nine’s Underbelly: Razor and Seven’s Wild Boys were the week’s second and third highest rating local drama respectively with Underbelly taking 1.749m combined metro and regional, placing 8th overall and Wild Boys taking 1.487m in 19th place overall.

The OzTam ratings week runs from Sunday to Saturday.

The ratings were also unusual because of the Rugby League Grand Final on Sunday which was the most watched program of the week with 3.298m, while its pre-game entertainment and post-game presentation placed third and fifth respectively with 2.080m and 2.009m.

Steven Spielberg’s Queensland-made Terra Nova premiered in 11th place with a combined ratings of 1.666m. Debuting as a double episode, the second half dropped off slightly to 1.615m into 16th place.

Elsewhere The X Factor took 2.017 for the Tuesday’s  episode and 1.749m for Monday’s performance episode.
