Perth radio ratings: Today Network’s 92.9 struggles again
Perth’s 92.9 has continued to struggle in the Nielsen radio ratings, as the station saw its audience fall for the second survey in a row.
The station, part of the Today Network, saw its audience share drop to 9.3% from 11% last survey, a drop from 12.5% in the previous survey.
The result has meant a slip in the commercial FM market from second place in Survey Five to fourth in this morning’s results.
The station also fell below non-commercial youth-orientated FM station, ABC’s Triple J, which is just ahead on 9.4%.
However, Southern Cross Austereo’s other FM station, Mix94.5 remains on the top of the commercial FM pile with 13.3% share. The station did however see a drop from 14.5% this book.
Nova93.7 just snuck into second place on 10.4%, down from 11.8% – ahead of 96FM on 10.3%, which dropped from 10.4%.
In the AM market, 6IX saw a jump from 5.1% to 7%, closing the gap on a static 6PR at 9.1%. However ABC720 remains at the top on 11.8%.
