Peugeot lets the outside world in
Peugeot has launched a new print and outdoor campaign for the Peugeot 308 Touring.
The campaign, created by Arnold Furnace, aims to highlight the vehicle’s panoramic glass roof.
Titled Hitchhikers, the campaign carries the strapline “Let the Outside World In” and shows different outdoor elements trying to hitch a ride in the car.
Tom Spicer, joint national creative director at Arnold Furnace said in a press release: “The challenge with all car advertising is to hero the product and still have room for a creative idea. This campaign strikes that balance well and makes its point with imagination and wit.”
Arnold Furnace and Peugeot have in the past focused on the upkeep and service of vehicles, picking on ‘down the road’ mechanics, and using dodgy spare parts.

It certainly is cute and creative. If it’s to make you challenge the way you think, then it works – same process you go through when you pick up a hitchhiker – “should I shouldnt I?”
On the other hand does it really deliver the benefit of a glass roof? Probably not. With all the warm and happiness the sun can bring into your driving experience here it looks small and unimpressive.

Its ridiculous. Seriously how much time was spent thinking this up. ‘ok guys, lets draw a sun and place it in front of the car’. Also do you really want that rainy storm cloud in your car. Dont like being down on work but dont sing about something that isnt very good.
PS can agencies stop with listing who did the campaign like its a piece of art

Outdoor? I don’t think that it’d land the point as I was driving past.
