PHD win amaysim following review

Low cost mobile service provider amaysim has appointed PHD as its media agency following a competitive review process.

MediaCom and Advantage Advertising previously held account thought to be worth around $9 million.

The announcement:

Amaysim, Australia’s low cost mobile service provider, has today announced PHD as its new media agency following a competitive review process.

The appointment will see PHD look after strategy and communications planning, buying and analytics across all amaysim products from May 2014. This move will also see DR and brand activity aggregated under this one agency relationship, excluding SEM, which continues with

FirstClick Consulting. No other agency partners will be affected.

amaysim’s Director of Marketing, Andrew Balint, said the move has come at a pivotal time for the telco, as it continues to cement its position as a significant player in Australia’s mobile
