Populace appointed by app publisher Sportsmate to rep Victorian media sales
Mobile app publisher Sportsmate has appointed Populace, the youth orientated digital collective, to manage the publisher’s Victorian media sales. Sportsmate’s flagship titles include Aussie Rules Live, Super Rugby Live, A-League Live as well as AFL Pulse. Already advertising with Sportsmate is Carsales, Farmer’s Union, Disney and the BBC

Sportsmate’s suite of apps includes the top rated Aussie Rules Live, Super Rugby Live, A-League Live, and the newly launched AFL Pulse.
Marketers can reach Sportsmate’s annual 1.55 million users via mobile banners, HTML5 ads, integrated games and custom apps.

Sportsmate are one of Australia’s leading mobile app publishers for iPhone, iPad and Android, giving sports fans instant and in-depth access to content to fuel their undying passion.
Populace has partnered with Sportsmate to manage the publisher’s Victorian media sales.

In 2011, their suite of apps boasted 1.55 million users. This figure is set to top 1.7 million in 2012, cementing Sportsmate’s category leader position in the sports app market.
