PR exec Robert Marson joins experiential agency Liveworks

Rob Marson and Justin McLean

Robert Marson, founder of PR agency Killer Whale, has joined experiential marketing firm LiveWorks.

As a result, Killer Whale, which Marson had been running for six years, has been wound up.

Killer Whale was aligned with sustainability agency Republic of Everyone, which is hunting for a replacement PR offering.

Marson teams up with Justin McLean, formerly promotions manager at Off to Work and a performer at Universal Studios.

The agency has clients including Astra Zeneca, Ensemble, which is part media agency group Mediabrands, and magazine publisher ACP.

A company website, liveworks.com.au, is still under construction.

Justin McLean said: “LiveWorks has carved a niche in cutting-edge brand theatre, particularly in the cinema environment, but Rob brings us the senior brand strategy and project management expertise we need to develop our offering.”
Marson added: “LiveWorks has always been an agency that’s put entertainment and theatre at the core of their experiential campaigns. They have a fresh approach and I’m confident our combined skills will really take the agency forward in the coming months.”
