Presto hands creative account to Whybin\TBWA as it renews marketing push
Foxtel and Seven’s joint venture streaming service Presto has appointed creative agency Whybin\TBWA Sydney to handle its creative account as it makes a renewed marketing push in an effort to compete with the likes of Netflix and Stan, Mumbrella understands.
It is understood Whybin\TBWA beat out DDB, Publicis Mojo and BWM for the account.
BWM led the service’s first campaign, which aimed to show the service as a good way to entertain kids and adults alike.
Last December it was announced Seven West Media had signed on with Foxtel’s streaming service Presto with TV programming set to be added to the service from 2015. In February the joint-venture announced a three-tiered pricing structure.
For Whybin\TBWA the account win is the first since the departure of executive creative directors Dave Bowman and Matty Burton and the arrival of Gary McCreadie and Wesley Hawes.
Whybin\TBWA clients include David Jones, RaboDirect and Tourism New Zealand.
