Priceline marketing director Amanda Connors to depart
Amanda Connors marketing director for Priceline and Australian Pharmaceutical Industries (API) is depart after seven years in the role, Mumbrella can reveal.
Connors is a former head of marketing at Myer and has also served as senior manager brand and sponsorships at Westpac.
“After seven years of the most amazing journey with the Priceline brand, working with a team of incredibly passionate and talented people across the business, I have decided to leave my API family for my other family,” said Connors. “My beautiful boys and concentrate on the most important role in my life being a mum.”
Mark O’Keefe general manager marketing for API said he was disappointed to lose the experienced marketer.
He said: “It is bittersweet, because as her work colleagues we are sad to lose her after so many years, but at the same time we are really happy for her as we all wrestle in different ways with the work / life balance conundrum and we can appreciate the wonderful promise of this next phase of her life.
“We will be taking the opportunity in the coming weeks to farewell Amanda with both staff and key agency partners in a way that befits her amazing contribution.”
Connors recently helped oversee the media pitch for $13m brand which saw the account move from Media Merchants to PHD. No replacement has been named.
