Radio presenter Amber Petty joins Fnuky

Radio presenter Amber Petty joins Fnuky AMBER PETTY FNUKY MUMBRELLA 147x150Former SAFM breakfast presenter Amber Petty has joined Adelaide agency Fnuky in the newly created role of communications director.

She quit the Austereo breakfast role in June in what was seen as a surpise move in the Adelaide radio market

Before her broadcasting career, Petty worked worked in marketing in both the UK and Australia, most recently at Rapp Collins in Melbourne.

Fnuky GM Jeremy Ervine said: “It is a very important role for us. Much of our work leverages interest from the media to fuel community discussion. Amber’s background on both sides of the media fence makes her the perfect fit for us.”

Petty said. “I’m very excited to be joining Fnuky. It’s an agency with a lot of momentum and the waves they’re making, not just in Australia but also overseas, is very impressive for an Adelaide based agency. ”

Last week, Fnuky picked up an IAB Award for its Censordyne campaign on behalf of GetUp. The agency is also currently enthusiastically participating  in a feud with Clemenger BBDO Adelaide after boss Kim Boehm accused Fnuky’s creative director David Campbell of being a “tragic try-hard tosser”.

  8. Hi Indian Curry,

Not sure I’m completely with you – ta for pointing out typo on the word ‘participating’, but I may be missing a wider point.
