The radio ratings top spot in Brisbane has swung from Nova to 97.3FM, according to the latest set of radio ratings from Nielsen released today.

The shift came as Nova dropped from 13.3 per cent to 12.5 per cent and 97.3FM rose slightly from 12.9 per cent to 13 per cent.

Of the five surveys this year, this is the fourth time that 97.3FM have taken out the top spot.

Nova had the largest fall in audience, dropping 0.8 ratings points to a share of 12.5 per cent.

The battle for the breakfast time slot tightened up in Brisbane, with Nova’s Ash, Kip and Luttsy Brisbane’s favourite FM breakfast show despite a reduced share of 11.8 per cent, down from 12.9 per cent.

97.3FM’s Robin, Terry and Bob were nipping at Nova’s heels with a share of 11.7 per cent, down from 12.4 per cent in the previous survey.

In the drive slot, Nova’s Meshel, Tim and Marty, which is syndicated across the national DMG Radio network, continue to dominate with a 14.9 per cent share of the audience, a dip of 0.6.

97.3FM’s 3PM Pickup with Chrissie Swan and Jane Hall increased its share by 0.5 to 14.4 per cent share while B105’s Fifi & Jules Show, which is syndicated across the national Today Network,  came in third with a share of 12.4 per cent, up by 0.2.

In talkback radio, 4BC maintained its share of 7.3 per cent. The station’s breakfast show with Peter and Mary increased its audience share by 0.1 to 7.9 per cent.

ABC’s 612 increased its overall audience share by 0.8 from 9.3 per cent to 10.1per cent, moving up one ranking to fourth. Its biggest success lay in its evening timeslot with Evenings with Rebecca Levingston and Nightlife with Tony Delroy increasing the station’s audience share to 13.5 per cent from 3 per cent, moving the station into first place for the timeslot.

It beat out B105’s The Dan and Maz Show and The Bump Show, B105 moved from first in the ratings to third place. Nova’s Smallzy’s Surgery, which is also syndicated across the national network, remained in second place for the timeslot, increasing its share from 11 per cent to 11.7 per cent.
