The weather was generally kind to the event, with Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane staying dry, with rain in Perth only.

Radio United SydneySydney saw appearances from the likes of Guy Sebastian, Masterchef winner Julie Goodwin and NSW premier Nathan Rees. Usually deadly rivals appeared on each other’s shows, with Nova’s Merrick & Rosso using a roving microphone to appear on several shows.

Melbourne’s luminaries included Eskimo Joe and deputy PM Julia Gillard (pcitured below).

The morning, which begin at 5.30am AEST, included a roadblock package across all stations at 7.40am.
