There are probably a few radio nerds who will get excited about a new fancy radio, but will the content be good enough to drive the conversion? Given the sorry state of affairs in Sydney radio, i suspect the answer is NO. If programmers can't generate any passion in radio listeners now, how will they do it with new bandwidth? They won't. In a couple of years, broadband will be available in all new cars and punters will be able to listen to any radio service anywhere. Hello sirius, bye bye Austereo. But what about the content?
