To the (much improved) IAB Awards, where host Adam Spencer had a confession for the audience. After reading out a particularly jargon-rich intro to the widget category, he told them: “I know what all those individual words mean – but I’ve got no idea what that sentence meant.”

Neither did Dr Mumbo.

Meanwhile, there were some excellent lucky door prizes up for grabs at the event, with a random name generator selecting the winners. The $2k health spa ticket went close to home, with IAB PR Pru Quinlan picking up the prize.
