The announcement:

PR, social and experiential agency, Red Agency (redagency.com.au) is continuing its rapid rate of growth, celebrating a new client win. The agency will be representing the independent charity organisation, the Australian Literacy and Numeracy Foundation (ALNF), to launch their 2014 Wall of Hands campaign which aims to improve literacy and numeracy rates around Australia.

Wall of Hands is the ALNF’s annual fundraising and awareness campaign which highlights the distressing fact that currently only one in five Indigenous children in very remote communities can read at the minimum standard and aims to raise much needed funds for the ALNF to deliver groundbreaking literacy programs needed to change this unacceptable situation.

Co-founder of the Australian Literacy and Numeracy Foundation, Kim Kelly, stated that she is looking forward to working with Red Agency. “Red Agency is very passionate about what they do, so we knew they would be a perfect fit for us,” said Kim.

Associate Director at Red Agency, Elizabeth McKenzie, said they are looking forward to working for such a rewarding cause. “The ALNF is such an inspirational organisation and we’re thrilled to bring them into the Red Agency fold. We look forward to breaking new ground by delivering outstanding creative and outcome led work for the ALNF,” said Elizabeth.

One of Australia’s most awarded PR agencies; Red Agency picked up five wins at the recent CommsCon Awards, including Large Consultancy of the Year and the Grand Prix. Red Agency was also named Asia-Pacific Agency of the Year at the 2013 PR Week Asia-Pacific Awards, and awarded Campaign of the Year 2013 at the PRIA Golden Target Awards.  Red Agency is a full service communications agency with offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane which offers strategic public relations and marketing communications for clients across consumer, corporate, technology and government practice areas.
