Red Bull combines art with sport to launch new variants

Energy drink Red Bull has combined art with sport in a campaign to launch three new variants.

Timed to mark the first day of Spring, the campaign sees a superhero version socceroo Tim Cahill painted at New York Red Bull stadium to launch Red Bull’s cranberry flavour.

To launch Red Bull blueberry, Storm Surfers film director Justin McMillan has teamed up with surfer Sally Fitzgibbons in an underwater 3D film.

For the lime flavour launch, animator Craig Redman has created an animation of Red Bull Motorcross Daredevil Robbie Maddison.

Red Bull Australia MD Jason Sargent said: “This is a really exciting launch for Red Bull and the category, so we thought what better way to celebrate these new flavours, than by commissioning our own Red Bull Special Edition works of art. By teaming up some of Australia’s hottest creatives with the energy of our Red Bull athletes, has helped us to bring to life each new Special Edition flavour.”
