Salmat unveils digital business after acquisition spree

Salmat, a marketing services company that started out as a catalogue publisher 33 years ago, has officially launched a digital business following a series of acquisitions.

Salmat Digital houses companies such as Be Interactive, C4, MessageNet, Returnity, which were bought from Photon in December 2010, Lasoo and Roamz, which launched in January.

Salmat has invested $100m in digital businesses in three years, according to Salmat Digital CEO Nick Spooner. Spooner took the helm of the new company after moving from Ten, where he was chief digital officer, in June this year.
