Seven Network drafts Graham Richardson
Graham Richardson has been appointed the role of political analyst for Seven Network.
The announcement:
David Leckie, the Chief Executive Officer of Seven Media Group, today confirmed the signing of Graham Richardson to the Seven Network.
Richardson will be a political analyst for Seven across the network’s news and public affairs programmes, including Seven’s far-ranging election night coverage. Richardson will play a key role beyond the election in Seven’s ongoing coverage of the twists and turns in Canberra following the election. Richardson’s first appearance on Seven will be on Sunrise tomorrow.
Seven’s Director of News and Public Affairs, Peter Meakin, said: “Richo is the best possible recruit at the best possible time. We are stoked.”
Richardson, commenting on his decision to make the switch to Seven, said: “As a great woman once said ‘we’re moving forward’. I am delighted to join up with Seven.”
