Seven Network leads TV Week Logie Awards nominations list

The Seven Network has dominated the nominations list for this year’s TV Week Logie Awards, led by Packed to the Rafters and Home and Away.

The 52nd TV Week Logie Awards, which recognises popular personalities on TV, has seen Seven receive 34 nominations out of a total of 113.

Home and Away veteran Ray Meagher has also been nominated for a Gold Logie – the first time he has been considered for the top gong since he took the role of Alf Stewart 22 years ago.

The awards are being hosted by Bert Newton which will be held at Melbourne’s Crown Casino and televised on the Nine Network on May 2.

US singer John Mayer and Britain’s Got Talent contestant Susan Boyle have been announced as the international guest performers.

Last year the Gold Logie went to Packed to the Rafters’ Rebecca Gibney.
