Seven reshuffles management team to drive growth in Australian content

The Seven Network has reshuffled its programming and production management team to handle the growing demand for Australian content across various media platforms.

Among the changes, Janeen Faithfull has been appointed to a new role of head of content and rights management. She now takes over the management of rights Seven owns, acquires and exploits as well as retaining her role in managing its investment in Australian production.

She was previously head of production.

Brad Lyons, currently programme and communications manager in Melbourne, will return to Sydney as head of production. He will take creative control of the broadcaster’s Australian shows and lead its team of executive producers.

Graeme Hill, who has been in Sydney for the past twelve months, most recently involved in launching Seven’s digital channel 7Two, will return to Melbourne as program and communications manager.

Tim Worner, Seven’s director of programming and production, said: “Going forward, it is now clear that our part of this business is changing very fast and we will need to change in order to meet the growing demand for Australian content, not just on Seven but on all the various platforms across the Seven Media Group and the local and international media landscape in general.”
