Seven’s Winter continues to shed viewers as Nine’s Forever improves audience numbers

Seven’s drama series Winter has continued to to see its audience fall away, posting its lowest audience to date of 731,000 metro viewers, down from last week’s audience of 817,000.

Nine’s new US crime series Forever did not manage to out-rate Winter in the 9pm timeslot but did boost its audience on last week, pulling an audience of 613,000 up from the 582,000 metro viewers who tuned in last week.

Seven easily won the night with an audience share of 25 per cent as Nine lagged behind with a share of 18.1 per cent. Ten managed a share of 12.7 per cent as the ABC settled for a share of 11.6 per cent.

My Kitchen Rules was the most watched show of the night, winning the 7.30pm timeslot with a metro audience of 1.501m, down from 1.708m viewers last week. MKR was the most watched show across all the demographics.

Nine’s The Block: Triple Threat grabbed a metro audience of 753,000, a modest increase on last week’s audience of 738,000.

Ten’s I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here was watched by 622,000, according to preliminary overnight figures from OzTam. It was also simulcast on One. While it was slightly up on last week’s preliminary audience of 608,000 viewers, it was out-rated by the ABC’s 7.30 which was watched by 748,000 viewers.

Local drama Wonderland at 8.30pm boosted its audience after falling to 397,000 last week. The show pulled a metro audience of 429,000. The Good Wife at 9.30pm grabbed an audience of 281,000.

Meanwhile on the ABC, Shaun Micallef’s Mad as Hell at 8.30pm pulled an audience of 643,000 and Judith Lucy is All Woman at 9pm was watched by 519,000.

In the news battleground, Nine News at 6pm won with a metro audience of 1.056m, dropping away to 1.003m at 6.30pm. Seven News at 6pm grabbed 929,000 metro viewers before growing to 932,000 at 6.30pm.

On pay TV, Gogglebox, which is also shown on Ten, maintained its audience of 107,000 viewers on its third outing on the Lifestyle Channel last night, the same audience the show pulled last week.
