Snowtown director Justin Kurzel directs moody NRMA Insurance campaign
A new campaign for NRMA Insurance by Whybin\TBWA has been created by Revolver Films and directed by Snowtown’s Justin Kurzel.
The campaign was launched on Sunday and features a 60-second TV and cinema spot focussing on a travelling musician watching as various communities clean up after disasters. There is also a 30-second version of the ad.
Anthony Justice, NRMA Insurance’s GM of marketing, said the lead medium of the campaign would be television, but also includes press, outdoor, digital display, pre-rolls and radio. It will run in New South Wales and the ACT.
Justice said: “We are focusing our campaign on the days after a major event, not the disaster itself. It’s the time when people help each other get back on their feet, and in the past 85 years, we have learned how to do this better than anyone.”

I saw this last night and rated it as one of the best branding ads I’ve seen in years. Good effort.
