Southern Cross Austereo CFO quits after a month

Southern Cross Austereo logoSouthern Cross Austereo’s chief financial officer Peter Lewis has left the post after just a month, according to reports.

Lewis, a former CFO of Seven West Media, has departed the company which issued a profit guidance warning at the end of May  saying it expected to drop by 10 per cent this year according to a report on The Australian this afternoon.

However, the company has not confirmed the departure, and has yet to post an update to the Australian Securities Exchange as it is required to do.

It comes after SCA’s 2DayFM lost star presenter Kyle Sandilands and Jackie Henderson to rivals KiisFM, which led to the stations ratings crashing, as well as the plummeting audience shares for Network Ten, which SCA is an affiliate broadcaster for in regional areas.
