Stuart Archibald quits Archibald Ingall Stretton

Stuart Archibald, the managing partner of integrated agency Archibald Ingall Stretton, is leaving the agency he founded 13 years ago.

In a statement, Archibald said there was a “strong possibly” he would return to Australia for his next project.

The announcement:

Stuart Archibald, founding and managing partner of archibald ingall stretton… is to leave the integrated shop he co-founded with Steve Stretton and Jon Ingall 13 years ago.

Stuart helped grow the agency in the UK from 3 to over 120 people and winning clients such as 02, Santander, Skoda, Sky and The Climate Group.  He restructured the agency in 2004 to become digitally centric which now accounts for over 80% of the business.  In 2008 his work with The Climate Group led to the agency becoming one of the only agencies in the UK to be carbon neutral.

In 2010 Stuart went on to establish archibald ingall stretton… as a full service creative shop in New York.  After 16 months the agency is billing $2 million in income and working with such notable clients as The Economist, AXA, Choice Hotels and The Climate Group.  Key to their growth has been their ability to attract branding, advertising, digital and social work from clients in the U.S.

Stuart Archibald said, “Anyone who knows me understands it’s the entrepreneurial side of the business that excites me. That’s what I am looking to do again, and there’s a strong possibility that Australia will be included in my plans.”
