The money would've been better spent on communicating to consumers that Evian is looking into how they can become better for the environment. I don't see the ROI dancing babies are going to have to consumers buying Evian Water....sure it's viral and quirky but then what?? I'd love to be in the meeting trying to justify the massive spend to the CEO with the P & L forecasts! It may be virally successful, but I think the real viral hits are the ones where you have to look twice, or three times, to figure out whether it's real or not. For example the Cadbury gorilla. Your brain tells you that there's no way they could train a gorilla to do that, but at the same time, you think to yourself, "but the gorilla looks SO real..."
