STW Communications has brought in one of the founders of ad agency Jack Watts Currie, Rob Currie, in the new role of group business director, as the struggling agency holding group continues to overhaul its business.

Shares in STW (ASX: SGN) have fallen as low as 54c in the past few days, having been hovering around the $1.20 mark just a year ago. STW has previously stated it is overhauling its business in a bid to turn around the performance of its agencies.

STW agencies include Ogilvy, Ikon Communications, The Brand Agency and The White Agency, although it has pledged to cut the number of businesses it controls from 80 to 50 as part of the ongoing strategic review.
