Subway promote breakfast with animated ad
Subway has launched a new animated campaign promoting its breakfast menu which sees a singing and dancing Sub alongside his “friends” poached egg, bacon, onion, tomato and baby spinach.
Created by Smoke Creative, the campaign positions Subway breakfast as a better way to start the day.
Subway Australia and NZ marketing director Gina Kahler said: “A Subway breakfast sub is a great way to start the day, we’re offering our customers a tasty and freshly prepared breakfast on the run that tastes great.”
Complementing the commercial is a series of character videos which can be viewed on the brand’s Facebook page.

wow…your comment is bad, really bad. why would you write that??? never heard of loyal member and after this, probably never will again
why don’t you leave a more constructive comment than just your opinion on that its bad. Perhaps write why you don’t like it…
It’s shame that comments are used to shame work rather than to discuss the work – too many egos in this industry.

Not sure I could swallow 12-inches first thing in the morning.

Isn’t the hero in a food commercial the food? Why would you animate it?

I saw this the other day and immediately thought.. ‘Dumb ways to die’. Obviously they hoped for it to be as effective as dumb ways to die however it’s already been done… Overkill of animation.

Don’t worry @Graham, remember a foot-long doesn’t actually have to measure 12 inches! Just do your best…

Freshly prepared? At least the egg at Maccas is freshly cracked. This junk is poached, frozen, presumably pasteurised and microwaved.

It’s so bad the punter will never even know it was trying to be like Dumb Ways to Die.
Might need to start with why someone would stop at a Subway for breakfast in the first place (as i imagine thats a big ask), not just rip off the worlds most awarded ad.

This ad is just plain creepy. Ok, it’s animated, but the teeth on those things look like they have serious issues, why does the bacon thing look like it’s wearing oversized Y-front jocks, and the baby spinach thing sucking on a dummy, wow, this is easily the worst ad on tv at the moment!
