Sunbeam campaign focuses on avoiding surprises

Creative agency Droga5 has launched its first piece of creative for appliance manufacturer Sunbeam with a campaign focusing on people being given unwelcome surprises.

Droga5 won the account earlier this year from Brave.

The TV ad shows a variety of situations where people are surprised, from a man putting his hand on an electric fences, to a woman eating a apple with worm in it.

John Turnbull, Sunbeam’s GM of marketing, said: “It’s been great working with Droga5 to refresh the brand’s thinking and communication and this is just the start of both a great idea and a great relationship.”
