Swann Insurance: freedom is just another word for being well insured

A new TVC for motorcycle insurance company Swann Insurance uses motorbiking to draw a connection between freedom and insurance.

Playing on the adage ‘freedom of the open road’ the spot, created by CumminsRoss, sees over 30 different motorcyclists shot on location on stretches of road across Australia.

The ad was shot by SceneOn directors Matt Chuang and Andrew Coyle, with cameras mounted to different parts of the bikes and featuring bikies, motocross riders, vintage bikes and street bikes.

It’s the first spot CumminsRoss has done for Swann, a division of CGU Insurance, which was one of the agency’s founding clients.

Sean Cummins, executive director of CumminsRoss, said: “We’re very happy with it . It really honours the whole essence of what insurance does for you and the connection between the bike and the rider. It’s an enabling piece for riders to enjoy their passion.”

“It was a lovely effort by SceneOn from a fairly simple brief. We have great affection for the film production process and they brought their A game.”
