TEDxSydney appeals to creatives to help develop video content

TEDxSydney has appealed to creatives to help develop videos for the 2015 event.

The announcement:

We’re looking for brilliant creatives to help us develop videos for TEDxSydney 2015 and we are throwing it open to you, our TEDxSydney community, to put forward a proposal for a video idea.

Just as our TEDxSydney talks do, the video should make us think, provoke us, make us laugh, or just help us to see the world differently in some way. This is a fantastic opportunity to get your work seen by a like-minded, connected and creative international community. Last year TEDxSydney videos were seen by a live audience of over 2,700 in the Sydney Opera House, with 10,000 watching the live streaming event and millions catching it later on YouTube.

The videos will be shown as part of our wider program of talks and performances, and should be between 1 to 3 minutes in length. The theme for this year’s TEDx Sydney is Learning, and we recognise that learning comes in lots of different forms.

Being creative types, we know that you’ll take great joy in throwing your imagination far and wide to bring us videos that will inspire and delight our audience.

This year TEDxSydney 2015 will take place on Thursday 21 May at the Sydney Opera House. TEDxSydney happens the day before the stunning Vivid Festival and marks the beginning of one of the most exciting periods in Sydney’s cultural calendar.

It will be an exciting and inspiring time to be part of Sydney. This is your chance to have your work featured on the TEDxSydney stage, and beamed around Australia – and the globe. Go on. Share with us your video ideas worth spreading!
