Television’s finest ever moment?
On September 3, 1928, Philo Farnsworth demonstrated to the press what was arguably the first television broadcast.
It’s taken 29,975 days, but finally the moment that television was invented for has arrived in Australia.
Having successfully persuaded a horse to defecate on live TV on command, Dr Mumbo fears that it’s all downhill from here.
He salutes Seven’s Sunrise for achieving this fine moment.
Horrifying and yet fascinating in equal parts.

Same content as previous days, they’ve just fine-tuned the ‘talent’ delivering it.
