  2. There is some pretty good facts to suggest that JK Wedding Dance was not an organic ‘viral’ growth.

  4. That’s a good point to make, Julian.

The YouTube segment was shot at the Google Creative Sandbox. Annoyingly, it was just a day or two before it emerged that although the JK Wedding Entrance video itself appeared genuine, there seemed to have been a lot of work put in, very possibly by a music company, to make sure it went viral. I’d have loved to have asked Jay about that.

    Cheers,

    Tim – Mumbrella

  6. On the subject of infectious music – I for one hope it will it soon be possible to have the ‘Mumbo Report’ theme-tune available as a mobile ringtone download.

  16. Tim, please don’t say ‘advertisements’ again. I hate that word. They’re ads. Advertisements is just so….rebarbative ;-)

  18. Tim, your site is great, but you need a new host for the Mumbo report..

Sorry, but there are some issues with your presentation – makes it hard to watch..

Don’t publish this… just wanted to say that the CONCEPT is great, but i think you should look at someone to do it for you?

  22. Agree w/Jenni and disagree w/James.

Tim’s on the money with this – sure it’s not slick. But aren’t we all a little sick of slick shtick? It’s real, moves and is interesting. More’n I can say for much TV…

Tim is great! Just give it some time for the format to be worked on and sink in. I think it’s great that the video length is shorter now.

  26. Whoa! I have to weigh in here.
James couldn’t be more wrong. Tim is more perfect, as is anyone who succeeds in being themselves.
    Work in TV James?

  28. I’d have to say I agree with James, you just look so uncomfortable. Maybe you’ll grow into the role just as Top Gear (UK) presenters did.

  30. James, give it a break mate! Timbo is doing great!

What kind of feedback is – ‘There are some issues with your presentation – makes it hard to watch..’ you do not actually bring anything up worth fixing.

  32. Don’t listen to the haters Tim. I think you are very entertaining. More presenters should focus on being themselves instead of trying to fit a predictable mold. Besides, they’re just jealous they don’t have their own hit YouTube show.
