The Remarkables Group appoints five more bloggers

Blogger talent agency The Remarkables group has added five new bloggers to its stable.

The announcement:

The Remarkables Group today announced five new Remarkables, taking its stable of blogger talent to ten.

The agency launched in May this year with founding Remarkables Styling You, Woogsworld, Edenland, BabyMac and A Beach Cottage. Joining them today are:

• Chantelle Ellem (Fat Mum Slim) – www.fatmumslim.com.au <http://www.fatmumslim.com.au>

• Andrea Zanetich (Fox in Flats) – www.foxinflats.com.au <http://www.foxinflats.com.au>

• Corrie Sebire (Retro Mummy) – www.retromummy.com <http://www.retromummy.com>

• Nikki Yazxhi (Bellamumma) – www.bellamumma.com.au <http://www.bellamumma.com.au>

• Christina Butcher (Hair Romance) – www.hairromance.com <http://www.hairromance.com>

Chantelle is founder of the Instagram Photo a Day challenge, which has had over 6m photos shared to date; while ex-marketing director Andrea recently created the first brand/blog co-branded e-magazine with Ecco shoes.

In its first four months in business The Remarkables Group has managed campaigns for brands including new Qantas entity Hooroo, Harris Farm Markets, Sensodyne, Method, Tomorrow Finance, Makeup Australia, Cenovis, TIC TAC and Rockport – with work spanning on-blog activity such as sponsored posts and off-blog work like event appearances and content creation for external websites.

A fact-finding trip to major blogging conference BlogHer in NYC, an indepth study of 3,500 blog readers, a B&T 30 Under 30 Award for founder Lorraine Murphy and a slew of media coverage has added to the whirlwind of the agency’s first four months in business.

Lorraine said: “I started the business based on the insight that there was an aching need for a model that could bridge the gap between the leading bloggers in Australia and the brands that want to partner with them. Four months down the track, I can confirm that that need was indeed there, so much so that we’re already adding another five bloggers to fulfil client demand. The business is moving at warp-speed – we’ve already got campaigns confirmed for three out of five of the new Remarkables.

Future plans for The Remarkables Group include building the team managing both client and blogger relationships, growing the stable of talent further and finalising plans for 2013 work.

Lorraine said: “Our vision back in May was for Remarkables to be annual ambassadors for brands in a similar fashion to where the US market is – a scenario I didn’t think would materialise for a couple of years. Excitingly, we’re in late-stage discussions with three major brands about ambassadorships in 2013, which will see the Remarkables blogging regularly about those brands, hosting events and creating content for the brand’s owned platforms throughout the year.”
