The X Factor live wins Monday night with 1.465m

The X Factor: won in every key ad demo

Seven’s song contest The X Factor was the highest rating Monday night show, pulling in 1.422m with its performance episode according to preliminary overnight metro figures from OzTam.

Corrected for the actual airtime, figures for last night’s live show were slightly higher at 1.465m.

And unlike last Monday, when Nine’s Big Brother edged out The X Factor for younger 16-39 viewers, the Seven show won in every key advertising demographic.

The X Factor, which ran from 7pm until 9.15pm, won its time slot ahead of Big Brother and The Mentalist on Nine, and New Girl, Ben & Kate and Can of Worms on Ten.

Live nominations on Big Brother rated 993,000 in total viewers.

Ten’s top show was Ten News At Five, with 687,000. A repeat of Modern Family rated with 600,000 while Can of Worms brought in 572,000.

It was another close run tussle for the breakfast viewer, with Seven’s Sunrise rating with 361,000, ahead of Nine’s 345,000 for Today.
