Tiger Pistol launches Pistol Labs to provide end-to-end social strategy

pistol labsMelbourne-based social and technology business Tiger Pistol has launched Pistol Labs, an enterprise agency providing end-to-end social strategy, technology and management, from platform selection through to content creation and community management.

Tiger Pistol co-founder and chief client officer, Troy Townsend told Mumbrella: “We relaunched our Tiger Pistol business about six weeks ago and we were also in the process of starting to work with a lot more big brands and we thought it was time to differentiate our products so we have two, distinct product offerings: one for the SMB and one for the enterprise.

“We actually make decisions based on analytical data – what time we post, what we post about, what industry vertical is getting the most engagement through different types of creative posts. We really make our content based on real data, rather than just making the content up as we go. That’s the real big differentiator for us in the business.”

The agency is launching with new clients Spotlight, Ben&Jerry’s and Cancer Council as well as NAB, Anaconda, News Corp, RAMS, Reject Shop and Pinnacle Liquor’s Poliakov Vodka.

“We basically manage the bespoke social technology – apps, activating social events. We also do their ongoing community management,” Townsend said.

Tiger Pistol has also been awarded Facebook Preferred Marketing Partner status for its platform that lets small business automate their Facebook marketing.
