TMS makes twin hire to bolster digital offering

Ally Cooney

Camilo Hilario

TMS has made two hires to bolster its digital department.

The independent media agency has re-signed the former associate digital director of MediaCom UK Ally Cooney as associate digital director, and brought in Camilo Hilario, an SEO specialist at FirstClick Consulting, as head of search.

The agency’s MD Andrew Lamb, said: “With an already market-best offering headed by Matthew Joyce, these 2 appointments solidify TMS digital credentials. With digital representing over a third of the agencies output, Cam & Ally will be instrumental in continually improving our offering to existing clients, as well as being an important part of our new business drive. In addition to one of the strongest digital teams in the industry, with tools such as Pulse by tms and Trader by tms, we are well positioned to achieve all of our aspirations.”

Cooney noted: “Since I re-joined TMS I’ve found it very apparent that it isn’t just our independence that our Clients value, its trust. We work hard to earn their trust and to keep it. This lets us work together very effectively – which is one of the many reasons why I’m thrilled to be back, and focussing on the ever more critical digital world. It’s an exciting time in digital, at TMS, and for me.”

Hilario said: “I feel very fortunate to have joined TMS at such an opportune time, at a stage of growth and with a strong company culture. TMS stands apart in the way the agency treats clients and employees alike and I’ve found the high retention rates for both are testament to the expertise of the team and the care and personalisation each person puts into their work”.
