Tourism Queensland launches ‘I spy’ spring campaign

Tourism Queensland has launched a two-week spring campaign to promote its deals on holidays.

The ‘I Spy’ campaign, which starts today, plays on the nostalgia of drive holidays, prompting Australians to ‘spy out’ Queensland holiday deals on Wotif.com.

The campaign was reported by news.com.au today.

Tourism Queensland acting CEO Leanne Coddington said in a press release: “Most of us remember our pre-holiday excitement as kids and passing the time looking out the car window playing ‘I Spy’. Tourism Queensland’s new campaign aims to create some nostalgia around this by encouraging Aussies to ‘I spy’ some fantastic Queensland holiday deals and create some great new holiday memories in the process.”

“We’ve partnered with top online booking agent Wotif.com and their tourism activities and experiences arm GoDo, which means these fantastic deals will reach a potential 1.8 million Wotif.com subscribers in Australia and New Zealand plus Tourism Queensland’s more than 450,000 e-newsletter subscribers,” she said.
