Toyota reveals new ad by OddfellowsDentsu
OddfellowsDentsu has revealed the latest ad for Toyota featuring ongoing characters Zoe the concierge and Adam the salesperson.
The ad, which features Adam dressed in a malfunctioning costume, promotes the ‘Buyer’s Advantage’ sale and one per-cent comparison rate offered for a select range of Toyotas, including the Aurion and Camry models.

“The pre-Easter car sales season is one of the most competitive of the automotive calendar and Toyota wanted to make sure nobody missed the significance of such low finance – hence Adam’s giant red 1 per cent costume,” OddfellowsDentsu executive creative director, Wayne Maloney told Mumbrella.
OddfellowsDentsu’s previous project with Toyota featured cricketing legend Glenn McGrath with Zoe and Adam for its ‘Toyota Time’ deal.
The campaign will run across television, radio, digital and dealership promotions.

I know this isn’t very insightful.
But to add at least one comment, I don’t know anyone who likes these ads.

These ads are a bit like VB. Brewed to be as bland and inoffensive to as many people as possible. And tasteless and watery as a result.

At least the VB ads are occasionally great, as bad as the product is.

At least the ads are as bland as their cars.
