House Rules eases Seven to Tuesday ratings win
Seven’s House Rules was most watched show on Tuesday, helping the network to a comfortable win for the night, preliminary overnight ratings from OzTAM reveal.
The renovation reality contest rated an average of 1.484m viewers, while Seven also aired double episodes of Winners & Losers which rated 961,000 and 820,000 viewers.
Seven finished the night with a share of 25.8 per cent, well ahead of Nine’s 18.2 per cent. Nine’s big reality franchise the Voice did not air last night.
Nine’s best performer was Nine News which rated 1.277m. Double episodes of The Big Bang Theory rated 950,000 and 848,000 for Nine. When Love Comes To Town continued to struggle for Nine, rating 502,000 and 439,000.
Meanwhile, Ten’s cooking contest Masterchef had another night tantalisingly close to 1m metro viewers. It rated 988,000, seventh most watched show of the night. Ten had one of its better evening’s for audience share, averaging 16.1 per cent and easily beating ABC1’s 10.1 per cent.
In the morning battle, Seven’s Sunrise beat Nine’s Today by 346,000 to 279,000. Seven’s The Morning Show beat Nine’s Mornings by 149,000 to 113,000.
In Perth, Nine News delivered its biggest audience in at least four years with an audience of 134,000. Nine has been investing in its WA operation since buying it from WIN late last year and appointing former Ten progamming chief David Mott to run it. Seven has long dominated the market and Seven News rated 227,000 in Perth last night. Ten Eyewitness news rated 138,000.

Hi Bullswool,
Only the top 100 shows of the day get routinely released to the media, and I’m afraid that Studio 10 doesn’t make it into that list. Which is a shame – it’s a good show, but it’s not rating.
