Unilever appoints European marketer to replace Sparshott

Unilever’s European brand development director for stock cube brand Knorr, Ferry Kamp, has been appointed to replace Australia and New Zealand marketer Nicole Sparshott.

Sparshott has moved from her role as marketing director for savory and hot tea brand development – which also included the ice cream category – to a regional role with the company, based in Singapore.

She is now brand development director of ice cream for Southeast Asia and South Asia.

Kamp has stepped into a role which has been restructured to brand development director for savory and hot tea for Australia and New Zealand. Brands include Streets, Continental,  Bushells, Lan-choo and Lipton.

In his previous role with the company, Kamp oversaw marketing for Knorr across 16 countries.

He has been with the FMCG company for 11 years, holding marketing roles in the spreads and savoury categories in the Netherlands and Germany.

Meanwhile, Sparshott will continue to contribute to Unilever Australasia’s ice cream business, which includes Australia and New Zealand.
