That sucked the oxygen out of the other reality TV contenders with Nine’s Australia’s Got Talent posting its lowest ever figures with 613,000 viewers from 7:00pm and Ten’s I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here also falling back to 645,000 viewers between 6:30pm and 8:00pm.

Molly Meldrum continues to provide ratings gold for Channel Seven with a documentary Molly: The Real Thing grabbing 1.302m viewers last night after the big lead-in from MKR, according to OzTAM preliminary overnight metro ratings.

MKR and Molly dominated all the advertising demographics in first and second spots, as Seven managed a share of 32.5% for its main channel, ahead of Nine’s 15.7%, ABC on 13.4% and Ten on 11.2%.

The rebooted version of The X-Files dropped again to 488,000 from 8:30pm on Ten, down from 549,000 last week, while Modern Family at 8:00pm managed 525,000 for the channel.

Seven News won the news battle with 1.083m at 6:00pm ahead of Nine’s 1.024m, while 60 Minutes at 8:15pm on Nine could only muster 731,000 against Molly.

ABC’s best shot was again UK show Doc Martin with 950,000 viewers at 7:40pm, while Call The Midwife at 8:30pm managed 570,000.

The second full week of catch up TV data saw Home and Away and MKR dominate the top ten with Nine’s Here Come the Habibs the only other show to make the rankings.
