Victoria University showcases student success with new ‘Prepare for Victory’ campaign

Victoria University has launched a campaign to inspire confidence in prospective and current students, encouraging them to ‘Prepare for Victory’ as they enter the job marketplace.

The 60-second cinema ad uses the Rudimental track ‘Not Giving In’ along with powerful images of businessmen, scientists, paramedics and engineers kicking goals in the workplace.

Leo Burnett Melbourne created the latest instalment of the ‘Victory’ themed campaign which has been running since 2013, to raise the University’s profile and familiarity among young people.

Jason Williams, executive creative director of Leo Burnett Melbourne said the aim was to “reposition the university as an institution of genuine opportunity.”

Since the launch in May, Victoria University reported brand awareness had doubled and familiarity had increased by 7 per cent. The campaign has also inspired a renewed sense of pride in current students.

Prepare for Victory

Sarah Lawrie, director of marketing and future students at Victoria University said in a statement: “Victory is a platform that’s flexible enough to seamlessly hero different aspects of the university, like our supportive and accessible approach to teaching, alumni success stories and state of the art facilities.”

This campaign is also supported with press, outdoor, online comms., and two 30 and 15-second TVCs.
