Video out of the box – literally

Last time I had something good to say about a Fairfax Digital ad execution, I appeared to be in a minority of one.

But here goes with another.

I rather like this execution with the Fairfax video player integrating what’s going on inside the ad with the rest of the page.  

The brand is Van Heusen, and we’ve already written about the ad itself.

The video is on rotation on smh.com.au, theage.com.au, watoday.com.au and brisbanetimes.com.au for the next four weeks.

  6. I really like it. I get annoyed at the incursion of pre-roll ads, of course, but I’m in the target market and I think the execution is cool.

  8. I agree with ‘Other Andrew’. I’d be in the target market and i actually think it’s really effective. More so because the pre-roll ads are usually so rubbish…
